BIRN was named the Company of the Year at the Business Culture Awards 2023
Among a strong field of nominees, BIRN emerged as the Company of the Year at the Business Culture Awards 2023 held on October 27th at the Musikteater in Holstebro. BIRN won the award due to its recent years' focus on growth and efforts to create a greener business and a positive working environment.
Group CEO Claus Beier, who accepted the prestigious award on behalf of everyone at BIRN, expressed his pride and gratitude, saying:
- BIRN is on a journey, and it's a journey that never stops. Therefore, I dedicate the Company of the Year award to the employees at BIRN. They are ambitious. They take responsibility. They are open to the many changes necessary to ensure that BIRN remains a future-proof company and workplace.
- All employees put in tremendous effort every day, making BIRN both a great place to work and a profitable business.
Claus Beier was also nominated for the Leader of the Year award. According to Erhvervsforum Holstebro, Claus was nominated for the award because, together with the leadership team, he has set a clear strategy, new goals, and a culture focused on a good working environment. This, along with BIRNs green profile, has strengthened faith in the future for everyone at the company. However, the award went to Lisette Sønderby, the port manager of Thorsminde Harbor, instead.

About the Business Culture Awards
Erhvervsforum Holstebro is a membership-based organization for businesses, local interest groups, and public entities in Holstebro Municipality. Every year, they host the Business Days event along with an accompanying award show, where six of the so-called Business Culture Awards are presented. This year's event will take place on October 27th at the Musikteater in Holstebro.
